What is Freediving?
Freediving is an advanced form of skin diving that involves
a more meditative and methodological approach to submerging underwater.
Through special breathing techniques, efficient movements,
and specialized equipment, freedivers are often able to extend
their underwater times and depths beyond that of normal skin
divers. The combination of these techniques reduces stress,
reduces heart rates, reduces oxygen consumption, reduces
carbon
dioxide, and increases aquatic comfort. This profound aquatic
comfort allows freedivers an unencumbered, graceful journey
in the underwater world.
