Japan Invitational
The USAA has been asked to participate in an invitational Dynamic No Fins competition is Tokyo, Japan to go head to head with some Japan's best Dynamic No Fins athletes. Asahi Television is organizing the event to broadcast the competition in Japan. Four male and one female US athlete will participate in the event.

US Athletes
Julie "Jewels" Russell
Jewels is the current US National Record holder in Constant Weight without Fins. A long time swim instructor, Jewels has shown dramatic potential in the no fins categories. She continues to explore that potential as she hones her freediving talents. She is one of the US's top female athletes in this discipline.
Glen Garrett
Glen is the current US National Record Holder in this discipline. He takes a non traditional approach to this discipline. He swims half of the lengths upside down. His approach has secured him the nation record on several occasions.
Kevin Busscher
Kevin was the former US National Record Holder in this discipline. Glen broke his record at the US National Championships in September of this year in Kona, Hawaii. Kevin has been seeing big leaps during his training for this event.
Deron Verbeck
Deron is the current US National Record Holder in Free Immersion. He represented the US at last year's AIDA Individual World Championships in this discipline. Deron is a member of the current US Freediving Team that will represent the US at this year's AIDA Team World Freediving Championships in Hurghada, Egypt in December.
Brett LaMaster
Brett is a former US National and World Record Holder in Constant Weight. He has represented the US in previous World Championships. Brett resides in Kona, Hawaii.

Grant W. Graves
Grant is President of the USAA and traveling with the group to coordinate the needs of the US athletes and to help judge the competition.
Bio
Linden Wolbert
Linden is traveling with the group as a coach and coordinator for the US athletes. She just volunteered for the USAA at the annual diving trade show in the US, DEMA. She will become a judge during her trip to Japan.
