Japan Invitational

Day 3

Training was the order of the day.  Noon departure made for a nice easy start to the day.  Jetlag be damned.  Most of the team made use of the complimentary breakfast served eachday at the Ibis Hotel.  Grant used the morning to try to beat his cold with some extra sleep.

Asahi TV had a bus for the crew to head to the pool.  Training was scheduled for fivehours.  Each of the athletes had plenty of time to get their technique dialed in.  Linden donned her swimsuit to join the team and take underwater pictures with Glen’s camera.

The team spent the time working on some new methods and dialing in their old ones.  Jewels worked out an all kick DNF technique that seemed to work very well for her.

Mission for the evening find good eats.  After some searching, sushi was the order of the evening.  Cannot go to Tokyo without trying the sushi.  Despite what most might think, sushi is not going to break the bank.  It is actually less expensive here than most places.  Four can eat and drink for less than $100.00 US.

Tomorrow is the competition.
