Japan Invitational

Day 1

Travel to Japan or trying to at least.

The US athletes and staff were traveling to Japan or at least trying to.  Glen Garrett was the first to suffer from flight delays, but not the last.  Glen’s departure from Cheyenne, Wyoming was delayed which caused him to miss his final connection to Tokyo via San Francisco.  Jewels made her way from Phoenix to Los Angeles.  She joined up there with Grant and Linden for the final leg to Japan.  Due to a first class seat that would not seem to lock into place, the flight was canceled.  United Airlines found them a place to stay and rescheduled the flight for the next morning.  The Hawaii crew was the only one to make it to Japan.  It is an adventure already.
